PS2 Reading.. - Club CDFreaks

I made a copy of a PS2 game (ESPN NHL HOCKEY) and find that the audio and video will skip while I'm playing and that it takes forever to load. I am using a Princo 4x DVD-R.

I know a better quality disc affects the performance for a DVD movie, but does the same appluy for the PS2? Would the skipping of the audio and video be eliminated?

P.S. I wasn't sure what forum this belonged to!

Ditch the Princo and invest in the best media you can afford since DVD recordable is not designed for the physical characteristics of PSX

What media would you suggest for playing PS2 games?
