I haven't used Clone DVD for awhile and went to use it tonight and noted my instructions to myself, however there is something I must be doing wrong.
I use it with Any DVD.
I put the dvd to be backed up in my external burner and had Any DVD opened and Clone DVD opened and selected Copy DVD Titles the first choice and the proggy moved onto the next window with the titles F: and I clicked on Browse and selected my F drive and the lights went on my external burner and it was vibrating slightly, however nothing happened.
When i clicked on the drive it read:
F: Video_TS IFO.\unable to open file
The device is not ready.
Please be sure that all required files are available. Try again.
Everything in the window including quality etc. is "grayed out" except for the Titles and browse. Even the Preview is grayed out.
Anyone have any ideas what I have done wrong here???
I have hooked my burner up to my other notebook and am burning with 1 Click DVD so i don't think it is the burner.
The burner is playing fine on the notebook with Inter Video.
I think I have done something wrong with the proggy??? I don't use it that often.
I look forward to replies.
I have read the help file and can't see anything there. Usually I select the chapters and watch the quality line change colours etc. However the quality area as I said is grayed out?????

Well a little progress, I now have the DVD in the computer section with the title of it and the audio and video ts.
I click on the video_ts and the 1sr window opens with F:/video_TS, shows the preview, title 1, chapters 22, 1 hr and 22 minutes, however the QUALITY is "grayed" in and shows nothing as far as changes go when I add more chapters etc.
Then of course I proceed on and it goes oh no! and gives the message as stated above.
Yet I backed up the dvd on my other notebook with the other proggy 1 Click DVD which I was told were incompatible and so I seperated them onto my other notebook.
Obviously my burner is working.
Again it has something to do with eraser, which I posted before and PAL.
Why it does this I don't know, however I would appreciate comments. there is only one burner program on this notebook and it is Clone DVD, however it is becoming so unreliable I now use 1 Click and Any DVD.
I really want to resolve this problem.

Well it seems for whatever reason the program seems to go corrupt every o, nce and awhile and I have to redownload over top as was recommended before.
There is no other program like 1 Click DVD Copy however, when I hear it say "oh no", that is the clue that i have to redownload. I put the other proggy 1 Click which is certainly more reliable onto my other notebook. I don't get any corruption there and it is working when I really need it! And the quality is just as good, however there are not as many options, however all i want to do is a clone of the dvd anyway and that is all.
Any DVD is a great program, no problems with it.
Don't ask me why this occurs but Clone DVD on my notebook has this peculiarity and it always shows up when I want to do something quickly. It is always the way!!!!!

Any other member have this problem?????
