Nero and LG8160B - Club CDFreaks

G'Day,

I like nero and used it on my old burner but my new burner, an LG8160B, is not recognised by Nero. There are'nt any firmware updates for the burner.

Is there any way around this? The burner came with ECDC; it works and so does clone.

There is no way around it until Nero decides to support your drive. They are usually very good about drive support.

I would contact Nero and see what they have to say about it.

My LG GCE 8160B is supported by Nero. I had 5.5.7.2. and it worked. I just got 5.5.8.0 and it's better than ever.

The latest firmware is 2.01 for the LG GCE 8160B.
