i !!!!!!!

i want to know how write the song's name on the cd (cd text) when i do a cd audio with nero 5.5.7.2 ( win2000pro, sony 24X)
because its only write track01.cda on the cd.......

Its always going to be Track#.cda no matter what. This is the format for audio cd's. In order to read the cd text you need a cd-text player. Try this one. Inertia from this forum recommended it to me.

If you want to write cd-text, you have to convert your music files to .wav's and also use Disc-At-Once mode to burn the cd.

Someone correct if im wrong.

To write CD Text, it must be supported by your burner. On your computer you must also use a CD Text capable player, as mentioned and referenced by afrodeziak. The hardware reader must support it also, whether computer drive or standalone CD player.

In New Compilation / Audio CD be sure to check the "Write CD Text on CD" box.

In CDA Options / General Settings, choose "Tempfile strategy"

In Burn, select the Write Method "Disk-at-Once"

If you are copying a commercial CD release, use the FreeDB internet database to download title, track, and artist information.

If you are compiling miscellaneous tracks, left click on each track and hit Properties and enter the CD Text information for Title and Artist.
