i want the old interface in the nero 5590 how i can obtain it?
i don't like nero express!!!

I thought that in Nero Express you can press a button to go back to the normal Nero Burning Rom? In my Nero Express found in Nero Burning Rom v5.5.9.0 there's a large button called 'Nero' on the bottom left. By pressing this button Nero Burning Rom will be loaded again... Does it work?

alright, heres the deal. i dont know if you have a shortcut for nero on your desktop, or in the start menu, but either way, right click on the shortcut and click properties. to get the old interface, try this:

click on the shortcut tab. in the target box, you should see something similar to the following:

"C:\Program Files\ahead\Nero\nero.exe" /w

change it to this (or the equivalent):

"C:\Program Files\ahead\Nero\nero.exe"

or more simply, delete the /w and the space that precedes it.

does this solve your problem?

no! it's the same! i think i will return to nero 5580

sounds to me as though you do not have a functioning copy of Nero installed. If you do, there will be an entry for it in the start-programs-ahead menu.

Too right. There are start menu shortcuts for both nero express and for nero burning rom (the traditional interface).

If you want a desktop shortcut to the traditional interface, just copy the start menu shortcut to the desktop.

you need to uninstall nero, then delete most registry entries for both ahead and nero. the easiest way of doing this is to use "Resplendent Registrar" from htpp://www.resplendence.com/registry/registrar.htm and use the search function.

if you use a pirate version of Nero with a keygen you probably have a blacklisted serial and you can only run nero xpress
If you have a purhased version of Nero try to reinstall

I have this problem when installing straight from the web installer. When I install from CD and update all works fine. OEM serial if that's relevant.

i have a legal copy.....i update my nero version... it worked ok
but afther i fresh install of windows i get the express version

Some serial numbers get you the express interface, some default Nero to the regular interface.

Try it out, if you want to confirm it.

I had this exact same problem.. it revolves to one single point.. a key that you use.. some keygens/keys that some people have DONT allow you to run it in full mode. I eventually found one that works. Always. Simple put, get a Old keygen that allows you to choose the licence type.. MP3 type will allow you to do it all.

I tried all those /w gtricks and none worked for me either. Only other way is to run NeroRunner, but thats just a hack more or less and not as pretty as the real thing.
