| Lightscribe image format (or 'printing' to lightscribe') I am considering using lightscribe, but my labels need to be generated from a database, and hence i expect its not that suitable to use purpose written 'cd label' packages, eg nero's label creator (although im not familiar with it). 1) Is anything avaliable to set up the lightscribe writer as a 'virtual printer'. I know lightscribe is nothing like a conventional printer, but this would enable any application to generate the lightcsribe label - It could be considered a similar solution to virtual pdf printers - again pdf not a real printer, but its a convenient method of acheiving the goal. 2) Can any lightscribe software use any 'common' file format as its COMPLETED label, eg can it 'just write' an image, or a pdf (or some other format) without the user having to havng to open its label designer and manually place this as an object first. The questions apply to windows or Linux (but i beleive lightscribe is not yet supported in linux?) Thanks Nathan |
