| DVD recording app to span multiple disks ? Can someone please advise DVD recording application (straight UDF format, not proprietory backup) that can span data set across multiple DVD disks? I need it to archive photographic files and regularly have to burn folder and subfolder structures containing anywhere from 30 to 200 GB with thousands of files and tired of having to manually create layout for each individual disk each time. Each file in a set is merely 8 to 20 MB so individual files do not need to be split. It is just the folders that I want to be automatically split between consequtive disk layouts. The only such application I am aware of is NTI CD&DVD Maker, but it scatters files across disks in random order, disregarding file sequence names. I.e. file #1000 can end on disk 1, but file #1001 on disk 5, so unfortunately it is not usable to maintain an archive. Thanks for advise. NB: Backup, WinRar and any other solutions with proprietory format are not acceptable for me. Likewise, reorganizing/splitting directories on hard disk does not fit my workflow. |
