| Dead End on copying PS2 games!!! Hi,I’m seating here behind my computer confused and desperate. Please help me, but don’t reply that “I have explained this before!!!” I have a moded PS2 35001 with an M2 chip. I live in Canada. I have tried copying different games using different softwares on different media ( -R/+R) at different speeds (1x, 2.4x, 4x), but none worked. I have tried DVD Decrypter, Alcohol 120%, Nero. DVD Decrypter/Alcohol: 1) write the image 2) burn the image Nero: fly on (exact copy) The games I have tried are GTA SA (a new game) and 007 agent under fire (an old game) The Mod chip is fine because SOME of the burned games that I get from friends work. The media I use is Memorex –R and Memorex +R. I have thought about it a lot, and there is one possibility. My M2 (mod chip) could be PAL (not NTSC) (if there is such a thing as PAL mod chip) ( but on the other hand I know another reason for installing a chip, other than being able to play backup games, is to enable us to play PAL games on NTSC PS2s, such as games from Asia.) I am totally clueless. I have been reading different forums for the past 2 months, and these CD Freaks seems to know their stuff. Help me folks. Sorry for the message being too lengthy. Thanks

| Re: Dead End on copying PS2 games!!! I use ritek go4 -media and back up the games using nero,as 99% of the games are copied without any special progs i think there maybe problems with the chip,i use to have a chipped ps1 and that done the same thing,it would only play 90% of the games. |

| Re: Dead End on copying PS2 games!!! If you use good media (verbatim etc) and dvd decryptor mode\iso\read to read and mode\iso\write to write (speed @4x should be ok) then it still does not work then it must be chip related.. |
