| Daemon Tools killed my DVD-writer, it wont recognize CDs anymore Hi everyone! I just updated my installed SPTD together with the latest Daemon Tools (4.091 x86) on my Windows XP-system. I had an older version of Daemon Tools before that (about a year old, sorry cant remember version). Immediately after the installation/upgrade my NEC DVD-RW ND-3540A began to give me a hard time. It wont recognize CDs anymore, it does recognize DVDs but it labels them as CDs but i can burn DVD-Rs as usual. I cant burn CD-Rs anymore though. So at first i upgraded to the latest beta version of SPTD but still the same problem. Then i uninstalled DT and SPTD and deleted some DT and SPDT entries in the registry and deleted sptd.sys, and i have still the same problem. I dont know what to do next, will appreciate any suggestion and help i can get. Regards kokobananko |
