Copying DVDs with a single DVDRW Drive

I only have a DVDRW but would like to make 1:1 copies of my DVD movies. Is there convenient software which handles all the nitty gritty of of copying my DVD movies and then directly burning it to a blank DVDR? I would prefer not to have to make an intermediate image file as this is an extra complication i would like to avoid. How about Dual Layer DVD copying...

Thanks.

Re: Copying DVDs with a single DVDRW Drive

Hi,

I really don't see how you can copy all that information without storing it on the hard drive - actually as an image file. Is your question how to make the copying without being asked to save the image file on a specific location?

Usually the user is asked where to save the image file, because its size is circa 4 GB - and not all pc's have that much space available on their C: drive (many software products record the image files either in c:\temp, or the like, or in c:\program files\xxxxx\temp - where xxxxx is the program name. Or some similar place.)

I think that Nero (Express) lets you copy in such a way, you do not need to specify the image location. The newest version of SwiftDisc is rumored that it will have such burning - but there is not 100% information when it will be released...
