Which is better ?
I am currently trying to back up my Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic CD's.
And I also need a good program.

Right now Alcohol is the best bet.

Just copy the game with Securom New 4.x settings, and make sure DPM is checked.

And turn off the Virtual Drives by selecting 0 Drives in the Options menu for virtual drives.

Turn RMPS on in the emulation, and you are good to go.

The other choice you have right now for Securom 4.8x is to buy a Plextor Premium and use Blindwrite 5 to copy. That gives you as close to a 1:1 copy as you can get, but costs for the Burner and the Blindwrite 5 Software.

Cheapest way to go is Alcohol120 right now. With emulation. (RMPS).

Of course this all depends on your hardware. Some burners cant burn Securom New regardless of the sofware
