I have the same problem with a TEAC 512SB

Can you send me the fix also, maybe it will help.
I tried to contact Goldenhawk several times but they won't reply to my emails nor faxes.
What's the matter with them?! I registered the software legally.
Anyways, I will be grateful if u can send it to my email (nebula@netvision.net.il).
Anyone else has encountered problems with the TEAC 512SB?

Is the drive listed as being supported?
If so, I can help but if not, unfortunately the fix will not work since it is only for the DRU-120A.

Yes, the drive is supported and on the list. I had no problems with previous versions of CDRwin, and I am currently back with ver 3.8G that my CDR can work with.
Strange, isn't it?

Go into the control panel and look at the properties for the CDRW. Make a note of the full ID (e.g. : SONY DVD+RW DRU-120A) including all the spaces. PM me the details and I will check out the EXE file to make sure it has the correct ID for you.

Not sure, but it could be the ASPI layer that CDRWIN installs. Had a similar problem with one of my drives. CDRWIN told me that no supported recorders were installed. I downloaded the aspi dll file off of ahead(Nero) site and saved it and renamed it to match the file that CDRWIN installed. Now it works flawlessly.

I think this is the file you need.

ftp://ftp6.nero.com/wnaspi32.dll

You need to change the name of the file to replace the file that CDRWIN's ASPI layer installs. I think it is something like wnaspint.dll or something. When you install CDRWIN I think it gives you as log of what files were installed where, check that.

Hopefully that will solve your problem, as it worked for me.
