Burning Software Discuss, CD Text problem with NTI CD & DVD maker at International Chat: Software related forum; i use NTI CD & DVD maker to write text to an audio CD, when i then play the CD using windows media player the text isnt there yet i am told the disc finalised without any errors ?? can anyone let me know what it happening?

i use NTI CD & DVD maker to write text to an audio CD, when i then play the CD using windows media player the text isnt there yet i am told the disc finalised without any errors ??

As far as I know, Windows Media Player doesn't show CD-TEXT at all.

You'll need to use some other tool capable of reading the CD-TEXT information if you want to know if it's really there.

Get CD-Text Manager & that'll read off any CD-Text present. Doesn't help seeing it on playback but it'll confirm or otherwise your success in creating it.

any recomendations of a decent jukebox/library audio player thats free to download and also displays CD TEXT ?

in addition to my above post the link i have to download cd-text amnager doesnt seem to work and i cant find any other locations to download it from.

Looks like there's a plug-in for Windows Media Player that might work. Go here .

Edit: Well maybe not.

VU Player is the best CD-Text player I have come across and it's free.
