Can only use the 'image' option and not burning! (reinstalled winxp)

Hi, i have reinstalled windows xp and reinstalled nero 6.0 and alcohol 120%. But those programs does not function 100% anymore, atleast when i copy a cd/dvd then i can only do the 'image' option. Source cdrom is ok but burning is not ok by both programs.

It used to work great before.

So when i want to copy a cd/dvd then , for example, by alcohol 120% i can choose a source dvdrom and then i press continue and then it gives me the option where to save the image. I looked at the settings and tried a few other ways but it do only the 'image' option so i cannot burn or copy it.

Thanks for any help.

If Alcohol does not recognize the drive, it will only allow image burning. Perhaps this is where the problem lies. Have you checked whether Alcohol recognizes your writer correctly?

It does recognise the writer, view the screenshot. It also scans all my drives correctly inclusive the burner, it also displays the burner on the main page by alcohol.

Any ideas?
