Hi, i already did a search and read some of the previous post, but im still slightly confused...

So inorder to burn a ps2 game and work...do i have to burn on a dvd-r media? and ps2 will only read certain brands? such as?

Does it matter which region the game is for (ie. PAL or NTSC)

i already tried burning the iso file (PAL version) using dvddecrypter, onto a memorx dvd+r media disc. But it didnt work. So what am i doing wrong here...is it my method...version...or media?

Your method with dvddecrypter in iso mode is ok, nothing wrong. But i would change the media verbatim or Taiyo Yuden and when you're usin +R media then set the booktype to -ROM. More important is that you have a modchip.

It depends on your burner if it supports bitsetting, what for a drive you've?

Just use Verbatim DVD-R's and you won't have a problem.

The Decrypter ISO read to ISO write method is what i've used for all my PS2 needs and haven't ever had a problem.
