Re: avi to dvd conversion?

Can anyone tell me where I can download pinnacle studio 9? Whenever I try burning dvds ( those that are playable in DVD players), there will be a bunch of ERROR msgs popping up.

Anyways, can anyone tell me how many times can I burn a regular DVD-R?
I burned it couple times, separately, and it still has 2 GB of space, but I tried burning new stuff on it, and it doesn't work, so is there a limit as to how many times I can burn info on it? Thanks a lot!

This is a short tut on how I converted an AVI to DVD in under 2 hours.

I load all the codecs from the ACE Mega pack.

Then I took the AVI called Zebra Lounge and used WinAVI to convert it to DVD format (1hr 20 minutes).

Now I used Copy2DVD to burn it. (since the files that winavi made are on the hard drive in DVD format.

Then I burnt it onto a DVDrw (15 minutes at 4x).

Tested it in my Mintec and Apex Players to verify that it encoded correctly.
(it did).

Now I burn it onto a regular DVD-R and put a Label on and I am done. (another 15 minutes).

Total time= 1hr 50 minutes.
Be aware that not all DVd Players will play home burnt movies. The following is a list of players that I know will play home burned movies:

Coby
Cyberhome
Norcent
Apex (only those made in 2003)
Mintec

Most of your really cheap players under 50.00 seem to work the best and normally those 30.00 or less work even better.
