| Audio AC3 6-ch or AC3 2-ch? Hi, i am doing a dvd backup and i wonder wich audio's i can deselect, i know i can with the german one but can those unspecified ones also be deselected? And wich one to choose between ac3 6-ch and ac3 2-ch? See attachment.

| Hi, The preferable audio-streams are of course the 6-Channel streams, as those are the 5.1 sourround streams. The 2-Channel streams are only in Stereo. The unspecified streams are soundeffects for the different short animations, like the THX-, DolbyDigital- or DTS-emblems or soundeffects for the menues. Unless you extract the streams and listen to them or you either use a DVD-authoring tool, there is no way to tell which is which. Only the real movie-streams are destinctable by their size and languge-code. |
