Anything better than RecordNOW for compliant DVD's?

The subject says it all. Once I found out the my Stomp RecordNOW Max 4.5 made "more " compliant DVD-Video's than Nero, I stopped looking at burning programs (for video anyway) for a couple years. Now I am going to buy a new burner and I don't know if it will be supported.

Is there anything better than RecordNOW yet? Has Nero been fixed?

I could search up the old threads on CDFreaks or Videohelp.com, but those who are familiar with this topic will already know what I mean.

Thanks, robert

Re: Anything better than RecordNOW for compliant DVD's?

I generally use Nero to burn DVD movie files except when the volume name I want exceeds 15 characters. I then create an image file with Nero or CopytoDVD & burn with DVD Decrypter changing the volume name in the process.

There are folks out there who update the PX stuff that RCN uses & sometimes an updated PX Engine from Sonic will provide support for new burners. Obviously you want to carry on using RCN (4.5/4.6) if possible as it's got a good rep.
