Burning Software Discuss, After I uninstall DirectCD... all my ATAPI devices have disappeared!!? at International Chat: Software related forum; Anybody experience this before? After uninstalling my DirectCD v5.3.5 thru Add/Remove Programs , my DVD-ROM, CD-RW & DVD-RW drives have disappeared... Under Device Manager, all those devices have yellow exclamation marks on them. When I do a RESTORE everything is OK. Running WinXP Pro-SP1 +

After uninstalling my DirectCD v5.3.5 thru Add/Remove Programs, my DVD-ROM, CD-RW & DVD-RW drives have disappeared... Under Device Manager, all those devices have yellow exclamation marks on them.

When I do a RESTORE everything is OK.
Running WinXP Pro-SP1 +all updates...

try to delete them and then restart your pc. Al you devices should be back afther that

done that... uninstalled & restarted many many times

This is a very old and well-known issue with Roxio. You will find articles on this here, as well as in the MSKB and at Roxio.
