| Re: WD 320GB PATA Hard Drive for $99 at BB Not bad for a retail drive. Only bad part is that most of WD HDD are 1 yr warrantees now. Wonder why, and Maxtor is part of Seagate now. I'm waiting for those 750GB to come down in price.

| Re: WD 320GB PATA Hard Drive for $99 at BB While it's a good drive for a current system, it's not future proof-- if you plan on upgrading your system anytime soon, most new motherboard chipsets will only support one channel for PATA, which means two devices max--- which in most cases are optical drives.
