That's still $5 a disk, and I can get very high quality SL discs for $0.40 each. Doesn't add up for me. IF they ever drop below $1 each, I'll buy some, but in my personal opinion, that isn't going to happen. DVDs (both SL and DL) will be obsoleted by blu-ray and HD before the price drops that far.

I received my order today, now that was fast....excellent service. Blu Ray and Hd-dvd can go to hell, I hope both formats die a miserable death!!!

only on verb DL's one can burn decently, other DL's are not even worth trying!!!

It should also be noted that you can still get better deals. I got in on the CompUSA $12 for the 3 pack on Verbs. $4 a disc certainly isn't bad for videogame backups.

Not on that deal. It was $11.99+tax at the counter and even less if you could get places (ie Staples) to pricematch them. Damn, I really wish I had bought more than one pack of them.

Wow! Just read about the new DRM. That new stuff is hard-core! Wonder if it really will "kill" HD video at home? Seems WAY too "big brother".

it sure will, people want to own their movies not to be leased by the government. Nobody in the right mind is going to pay for a format with that many restrictions. First of all, how in hell will people without internet connection are going to use these new players? You can kiss those home made HD videos goodbye cuz it won't be playable. You can kiss goodbye watching HD movies on your computers and laptops. They can kiss my ass!! If a movie you own is found to be offensive by the government later on, guess what? With a quick internet update is going lock your player from playing the movie. Like I said it before.....I hope both formats die a miserable death!!!
