As has been posted elsewhere office max has 20 packs of the Verb DL 2.4X DVR for 24.99. I was just there and they have both old and new packaging and both are MIS. I dont buy DL that often, is this a good deal? I know the MIS verb DL is the only reliable DL media.

Yes BB usually has a sale price of 29.99 on these and lately it seems they have sold out of MIS.

Yes, it's a great deal. This is about as close to $1 per disk you'll get without a rebate.

My Office Max won't have them, they never do. I'm beginning to wonder if they don't pull sale items off the shelf, like I know for a fact the local Best Buy does.

Ha, glad to be wrong for once. They had ONE spindle left, old packaging, MIS! It's mine now.

And I spent about 45 minutes driving, round trip.

The one near me had one 20pk spindle new packaging MII and two 15 pack MIS (which were priced way higher than i would ever pay). I passed on the MII spindle, but got a raincheck for 2 spindles @$24.99 each from the salesperson--which I thought was pretty cool.

Whoo, The OM near me (Overland Park, KS) had several New packaging spindles all MIS. I picked up 3. I'm pretty happy, My trip was worthwhile.

i was there yesterday...and i saw tons of the MIS cake boxes

This last Friday, I visited a Best Buy that was about 1 hour from the house, while visiting friends, and found 9 in stock, all in the new packaging, but unfortunately 6 of them were MII, but at least I was able to nab 3.

Too bad, I was hoping ALL the new packaging would be MIS, so I could start ordering them online when I see a great deal.
