| Toshiba HD-DVD Players June Promotion For those following Toshiba's HD-DVD players, June 10 (this Sunday) to June 16 there is a $100 instant rebate for any Toshiba HD-DVD player. It will be interesting to see what happens to the price of the HD-A2 this Sunday. Amazon has them back in stock listed at $299. Technically the promotion is already in place for the HD-A2, but the price went up from a low of around $237 after they sold out. HD-A2 at Amazon HD-XA2 at Amazon . |

| Re: Toshiba HD-DVD Players June Promotion All of this will drop like a rock until Christmas. Enjoy the price wars. This is just the 3rd battle of a long war. $199 for a 1080i player might be a price to consider. $299 is still too high for 1080i. IMHO!
