is it 16x?

its the tdk 100 pack and by the ad it doesnt look to be 8x

anyone look at it in store yet?

The printed ad clearly shows a 100 pack of 16x+r in the picture. Further, the item numbers listed in the ad (332727/333049) come up specifically saying it is 16x media on their web site. Fyi it looks like it is good online too (though based on the new disclaimer in there ad, I think everything will be avalable online). The disclaimer is "Not all products are avalable in all stores, but they are avalable online." Just look at those two item numbers on their web site.

Yes, I've got a pack of 16x-rated, made in Taiwan TTH02 that burn very nicely in BenQ DW1640.
