| Re: Staples.ca - Taiyo Yuden DVD-R - 5pc for CDN$5.97 My Philips DVD727 says that it will not play DVD-R or RW media. However, I have been able to play some movies recorded on DVD-R smartbuy media. Why is this? Before, I buy the media, does the foregoing mean that it will work? What do you think.
