I'll sometimes buy things online, not very often, and not at ebay kind of sites!

for example: I just ordered my cdfreaks t-shirt and cap

I only buy online from stores i can trust (or at least have the feeling i can trust them) So far it goes pretty good.

The only thing i was dissapointed at was when i ordered some T-shirts and stuff from www.thinkgeek.com , the local customs decided to add additional taxes to it , which made the whole purchase quite expensive.

Luckily this hasn't been the case with my Amazon dvd's yet

Buying online suggests that the retailers know what they're doing. Sadly www.gamedud.com.au has no clue. Ordered and direct deposited (popular in Oz) last Thursday, got an email today saying I had 3 days to complete the order which I did on Thursday. 5 emails ignored, telephone is out of order and has been for weeks, doh! I'm obviously an idiot, but I really need that ASUS48x. My advice, steer clear of Gamedude.com.au.

I make most purchases online. Even my $300 DVD player was online from http://www.sears.ca/.

Another over looked area is: auctions. Online Auctions. But know your prices. Sit back and watch for a week or two. Otherwise, you'll be taken advantage of.

I've got some difficulties with www.madman.com.au (Australian Anime/Manga movies website). I've ordered a couple of dvd's about 3 months ago and still haven't heard if they are accepting the order and if they are going to send it and charge my credit card.

Now i most also tell i haven't been actively mailing them as well about it since i constantly keep forgetting it

I for once never have bought anything online
I'm still kind of afraid i suppose that i might end up losing money or getting robbed someway.

I got my credit card a few months back and was willing to use it, but lots of friends that had tried online shopping suggested i shouldn't. One of them bought a plane ticket for England online, and 1 month later he got a bill from an English music cd store claiming he bought 120$ worth of cds online ... scary isn't it?

Unless they explicitly state "O/S orders OK" or the like, then they probably don't. They don't popularly ship O/S. I did an online order for 100 x 99' discs to the states...haven't heard or seen a damn thing yet for 6 months
