this is also in store deal too. Better to go in store and buy it since you can hand select for the ricohjpnr03 spindles as oppose to let them randomly pick the spindle and ship to you.

you are correct gc. plus doesn't od do the ink coupon thingie??? if so, $17.00 for 100 beaters is pretty good

I think they are, but they are very picky on ink cartdridge. They dont accept most cannons, and most old epson multi-ink cartdridge system type of ink cartdridge. HP is the one that they will gladly accept. I am wondering if office max is willing to match the price with their own Office Max Brand because you will more likely to get MCC media under office max brand.

Just got back from OD, scored 3 spindles of 100 DVD+R 16X Verbatim for $20.01 each spindle, I bargained with the manager and he marked it down since other OD stores marked down to that price.

Has anybody who bought these $20 OD branded discs checked to see what they are? I'm assuming Ritek for those made in Taiwan, which is all I saw at my local OD.

I bought some of the +R discs 3 or 4 weeks ago, and I received "RICOHJPNR03" discs, which burn well at 12x on most of my drives. Not great, mind you, definitely not as good as MCC004 for instance, but good enough.

I don't know of any way to be sure unless you could ID a disc. The 100-pk of +Rs I got at OD was made in Taiwan.

Although these are 16x discs, my Pioneer 111D "sees" them as 12x. A 12x burn is acceptable, but 8x gets the best results on my burner.

You can read through this thread for some clues. Also look at this post. From what I've seen here, discs that have the number D110.....R and D0127......R are Ricoh.
