I almost though thier wouldn't be a post today. I got a Dallas paper and it only had an office max ad. I went back and they were all like that. I went to another gas station and they didn't even have them yet. I finally managed to find a Fortworth paper that had all the normal ads except for compusa and circuit city (I did get staples this week though). So here it is. Just glancing at the media, your best bet might be the verbatium on clearance at staples (not advertised). See this thread.

Staples AD includes Fuji colored 30 pack 9$.
I knew this deal is coming. So while being there to grab Verbatim clearances I checked them. But all I found were MIT. Hope others have better luck.

Im going to another Staples in the morning. Time to stock up on the Ty - r's FUJI. Im also hoping for some more of the Verbs as well.

Fuji DVD+R 50pack on sale this week for 17.99 at K-Mart. My local K-Mart have mix 50-50 Taiwan and Japan (TY).

Just got back from my local BB in SC. They had about 50 100Pack Fuji +Rs. Only 2 of the 50 were MIJ, all the others were MIT.

I guess it's true - Fuji is switching vendors !!!

I Just purchased the last 5 30-packs of MIJ Fuji's in the store.
4 packs of DVD+R 30's and 1 pack of -R's.

They are now completely out of MIJ's.
I think I bought all of their Japanese stuff over the last month
The rest are MIT.
Actually they had 1 more -R on top, but I didn't get it (not enough $).

Just picked up 3 30 packs of the MIJ FUJI - R for my Plextor. They had tons of MIJ's but the inventory rack is full of MIT stuff. No luck on the Verbs, only lightscribe stuff left in the +r and cdr, the +r doesnt even say what speed it is so I passed on those.

Seems like the colored are a mix of 103's and 059's, I got 6 10 packs of the 103's and 3 packs of the 059's. Cant wait to do some testing, Im hoping for better results than the TDK TY -r 103's.

what is the difference in the numbers?
Does that apply for +R stuff too?

How do the two number sets differ, any other posts on this elsewhere?

I now have 390 unopened Fuji colored stacks +R, and 30 unopened -R's, along with 150 TY CDR's. I Think that will last me......um...about a week......

Do you mean 390- 30 packs and 30 -packs. My Staples store didn't even have that many in stock.

I mean, I have 390 total +r Fuji TY disks, and 30 total -R Fuji TY disks, not 390 packs (I wouldn't even have room for 390 packs lol).

I bought all those DVD blanks over the course of a month. Figured I might as well stock up on TY media while its still available......

You shook me up there for a minute, that would have been over 10,000 discs. Even I didn't go that nuts. I bought 300 + discs Yudens + and 60 dash TYG-02 all Fujifilm Tys. They really are great quality, they scan better than the unbranded from Rima.

I picked up four packs of the fuji disks.. Very good deal. They still had a lot of MIJ -R's didn't check the +R's (Portland,OR).. I also got some of the 16x Verbs 10 pack for $2.50.. Good deals at staples right now..

Don't really like the colors though.. oh well.. Great disks

Seems my local Staples never has MIJ Colored Fuji DVD's. Though they do have a ton of Colored MIJ TY CD-R's. Picked up one 50-pack just to get something. hehe

I probably would have picked up another 100 CDR TY's (100 for $18 is a steal), but I ran out of money buying the remaining Staples stock of MIJ DVD TY's

I have 150 TY CD's but I never know when I might need to burn a bunch of stuff that I want to archive but don't want to waste 1/5th of a DVD for.

Perhaps I'll go sometime during the week, I do get paid on Friday so thats more TY's CDs for me
