| NewEgg CyberPower PC Infinity 7300 on sale... CyberpowerPC Gamer Infinity 7300 Core 2 Quad Q6600(2.40GHz) 2GB DDR2 500GB NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT Windows Vista Home Premium - Retail Special holiday savings, limited time offer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16883229008 $909.99 3 Business Day Shipping $26.58 I am looking into getting a new PC for my office/home workstation and will be playing SOME light gaming, such as Half-life 2: Episode 2 / Team Fortress 2 / Portal on it.... Did I do good or is this price just decent? IF anyone can beat it, I'm looking for BEST value for my MONEY. Nvidia 8800 is AWESOME and all, but way too expensive, not sure if that's best value for my money. Thanks! |

| Re: NewEgg CyberPower PC Infinity 7300 on sale... In case if you did not receive my private message go here: http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/sh...v1=Over+%24600 Select the D4996T model or M9000T series. Customize it, select your quad core processor, and if you want, you can upgrade the video card from 8400GS to 8600GT for $100, but I would buy my own video card, dont waste $100 for that. When you config to $1000, apply this coupon Code DT4996 at checkout to knock $450 off your system. Good Luck the coupon code is expired on 12/15 And BTW, the M9000T seems to be a better deal, has TV tuner built in. And if you need an LCD, they have a free upgrade from 15" LCD to 20" so getting 20" LCD for $100 is a good deal Here is my personal opinion. Instead of getting the $100 Video upgrade from the 8400GS to 8600GT. Get the ATI 3850 at Best Buy for $159.99, it is much better for gaming and multimedia. And if you dont need the 8400GS, you can give it to me. I'll keep it in handy since I build a lot of systems for friends/family

| Re: NewEgg CyberPower PC Infinity 7300 on sale... I found a VALID working coupon for the website, $400 off any PC desktop OVER $999. Coupon Code: "DT9949" However, they raised the prices SIGNIFICANTLY... the same pc from HP would cost me $840 and ship in 5 days.... Slower Gfx card, smaller case, one less dvd drive, 350 watt power supply instead of my 500 watt one, mid-atx mobo instead of full atx, and this hp mobo is NOT SLI compatible, only ONE pci e x16 slot.... Any other ideas? I'm thinking about ordering the new egg one again..... either that or wait until january and order a new pc, but I'm afraid PC prices SKY rocket in january because the new intel processors will come out, they raise ALL prices to make it seem the old processors are a great deal when they aren't. |

I dont know if you like this deal, I was at Office Depot today, saw that they have a Lenovo Quad core system, Q6600, 3gb of RAM, 500gb HDD, the only thing missing is that it has integrated graphic card. The price is $800 after $200 MIR. I guess you can use the $200 MIR to get yourself an ATI 3870 then you have a gaming system

| Re: NewEgg CyberPower PC Infinity 7300 on sale... You can now get an Intel® Core™2 Q6600 Quad-Core (8MB L2 cache,2.4GHz,1066FSB) in the Dell Inspiron 530 I posted previously - configurations start at $599 - seems like you should be able to add a decent video card and do some light gaming as mentioned in your parameters and stay on budget. Don't know if this link will work or not: http://configure.us.dell.com/dellsto...kc=&oc=dddadbx If it doesn't search: dddadbx |
