| need DVDRW with short case My factory built - in DVDRW drive in my Compaq desktop has apparently bit the dust. The quirk is that the drive case is 3/4' shorter than a normal drive. The total depth is 6 3/4" I have already replaced the CDR drive with one of normal depth, and it is very tight in there. I don't think that I could cram the power wires in back of another drive of normal depth. So the question is, does anyone know how to locate a shorty DVDRW drive in order to replace the broken one? I'd like to find a decent quality one, though high burn speeds are not a priority. Thanks! ![]()

| Re: need DVDRW with short case Liteon DH-20a4p about 6 & 5/8" depth, $25.99 free shipping and seems to be getting good reviews. I've got one and it's working fine. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106228 |
