not sure how good a deal this is but it seems worth posting for ya'll to check out

I have bought 2 of them from atacom in the last 2 weeks so far with firmware 1.06 no problems at all burning at 4x, atacom is where i have bought puters stuff for the last 2 years.

Yeah, but their resellerratings rating is CRAP.

MANY complaints about being Atacommed.... So buy carefully.

$170 @ newegg... worth the extra $5 for piece of mind in my opinion. I tried ordering a mobo from Atacom a couple years ago and they kept telling me it wasn't in stock and to call back in a day or two. after about 2 weeks and still being shown as in stock on the site, I bought elsewhere
