| Intel C2D E8400 I know this CPU is not widely available in the USA ...yet , but I've read reviews and thought it was a great CPU I am going for a major upgrade and was about to get Q6600 , then I found the E8400 to be better for gaming , right ? The Q9450 is not yet released and that was what I want but for the price I found the E8400 selling for , I think I am gonna get it E8400 prices range from 194.5$ to 220$ which is awesome IMO . Should I go for it for that price or wait for the Q9450/Q9550 ?

| Re: Intel C2D E8400 E8400 OEM available at newegg.com as I type this at $199. If you plan to overclock, a third party HSF added make a perfect combo. I may put my hands back in my pocket for this one.

| Re: Intel C2D E8400 E8400 Retail 3yr warranty compared to 1 yr for OEM ( NO HSF ) would not use stock hsf anyways since these chips overclock like hell .. Unfortunately most places are out of stock should be released in a week or 2 ?? if you can't wait , get a XEON E3110 , identical chip needs less v and overclocks just as well http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...ufacture=Intel
