Good deal on a LiteOn LTR-32123S 32x12x40x CDRW

If you're looking to buy a cdrw drive in the US, OfficeMax has the CENDYNE 32x12x40x CD-RW Drive here on sale this week for $79.99 from $109. Then there is a $40 mail-in rebate so your final cost is $40.
This drive is actualy a rebadged LiteOn LTR-32123S drive which is a great drive and one of the best drives at copying protected discs. Got a 9 of 10 rating by CDRLabs Full Review

Here is the info that comes up from CloneCD.-

When you install it, Windows will recognize it as a LiteOn LTR32123S, same for your burning software (CDRWin, Nero, etc). Thats a good price for this drive. To be sure you're getting a LiteON, check the serial # on the sticker on the back of the box. If it has a 12 digit serial with all numbers it's a LiteON. If it's got numbers & letters it's probably a Verbatim (VBT321240A) which can be flashed to make it a LiteOn (the drive is actually made by LiteON), though it could also be a ACER or Mitsumi drive. Just make sure the serial on the box is 12 digits, all numbers and ask if you can open the box it should look like this.-

LiteOn front

On the back it should look Like this.-

Back of Lite-On

I heard some Cendyne drives are not from Lite-on but are from some other manufacturer, so you may want to take a look at the back for the serial number. Supposedly if they are all numbers, it is probably a lite-on.
