I know these are crap media not sure of the mid code but for those of you that like to test alot of media it's not to bad .03 cents a disk

Not for sure what the mid code is. When I first started doing the dvd thing I was using these if I remember correctly they were princo but that was a long time ago.

I was not that happy with these I just got them because I didnt know any better at the time and they were cheap . Now I know what to look for

Must be GQ brand. If it is -R, it is TYG02 MID, but it is fake TY with very low burn quality, and if it is +R, the MID is Media0D01, which is also very bad quality. Hope that helps

I've run into optodisc and leaddata in both formats. It's no telling what you get from Fry's GQ brand until you get home.

Here is there website http://outpost.com The fuji I seen on there was 50 for $29.99(usd) When I started this thread it was because of what the sales paper said that the had in the local newspaper here. The Fuji's are not even in the paper. I just went up there for the cheap one and seen the Fuji's and wanted to see what they were.

I really dont recomend then. The main reason I got them were for the mid code and just to play around with

made in japan fuji ty disks always - ALWAYS - have a gray bottom tray with 2 rings and usually, but not always a blue cellulose foam spacer ring ( about 1.25 inches - looks like a sponge but stiff and shiny) on the top and are almost always tyg02 or better and burn great at 12x with liteon cstj F/W. the taiwan made ones have a black bottom and usually a very large white foam pad that the discs rest on and sometimes a couple of very small clear/white hard plastic rings on top and are usually prodisc F01

No they don't. On my desk are two spindles of MIJ Fujis (YUDEN000 T02) that have a black bottom tray.
