well, it looks like a reasonable deal, with no shipping charges.

The next time Comp USA has a sale on Sony DVD+RW, you will be able to buy them for $17.99 per 25 spindle.

They are high quality, Made in Japan, discs.

I picked up 2 packs several weeks back.

So is Ritek any good? I will be using them in a standalone Lite-on recorder.

the Ritek discs should be ok for you.

Just remember, there are various levels of quality when you buy DVD media.

One is the likelihood that Made in Japan ( MIJ ) is generally considered better because of better manufacturing processes than most media produced in Taiwan,India, China, etc.

So I guess these are made by Ricoh, and not Ritek. That is really weird.

Newegg has these on a regular basis for $34 per 100 delivered after rebate. Same Ricoh W11 discs. I have had very good results with NEC 3500 and LG 4163.
