120 GB Seagate $39.99 [no rebates] at Best Buy - Club CDFreaks

Hello folks,

I know this isn't probably the absolute BEST deal out there and most people these days are looking for larger and larger hard drives, but I thought I'd post this just in case.

Best Buy has a 120 GB Seagate for $39.99 after $60 INSTANT rebate - no mail ins!

Question is: If you had a choice do you pick the one Made in China or the one Made in Thailand? Or is that just a crapshoot either way?

I bought two in San Diego (Mission Valley) yesterday. Have them check stock with the computer, as they're evidently not all on the shelf.

Does anybody know if it is an online only thing or good instore too? They would work great for raid arrays at that price!!!

Thing is, I wasn't looking for 'em. I went into BestBuy yesterday to get a cable, picked up the flyer as usual and saw the drives then. I only got 'em 'cause they were rebate-free.

If you don't see any on your shelf, have 'em check the computer. There were none OTS on the location I was in, but 9 in-store according to the computer, and my guy went back and got a couple for me.

its a 320 WD ide drive, retail, 125 with a 20 dollar rebate, so 105 after rebate, not the best deal, but its ok
