Re: What software do you use for sound editing?

It depends on what you want to do. For simple operations such as cutting ends and beginnings the Nero editor should be sufficient. There is an interesting freeware programme called Audacity, which also supports VST plug-ins and provides more than basic functions. Ask Google for more info.

Re: What software do you use for sound editing?

Steinberg Wavelab, Goldwave, and Creative Wav Editor are all great for audio editing.

My favorite is DC Millenium by Enhanced Audio.

Acid, then Cool Edit Pro, now Adobe Audition 1.5 - integrates fairly well with Adobe Premier/AfterEffects....

Wavelab and Cooledit is enough for me in case of editing, Besweet and tools and lame is good for all other things...

Hi DeadMan, to be honest i've never heard of CUE Player, that doesn't mean that it's not good though, the only one i've tried and tested so far is MP3Cue, so i really can't say if there is something better

btw i tried to follow your link but it's dead, if you give me a good link i will check it out

Re: What software do you use for sound editing?

Link is working here. I clicked on it to test.

CUE Player plays CUE files just like M3U files. Does not open any seperate windows. You can skip between tracks like anything else in Winamp and it displays the track names the same way in the Winamp display.
