| VERY Strange Happenings With Key2Audio Protection!!! I have just bought the Spiderman Soundtrack, and I decided to back it up. I loaded Clony XXL to see what Protection it was using, as it had on the front of the Box ( will NOT play on PC/MAC ). Using my ( Toshiba 1502 ) I read the Disc using ( Clone CD v4.0.1.10 and the AUDIO setting ) then I burnt the image to a Re-Writable Disc using my ( Liteon 24x10x40 ), that is when things got VERY strange indeed . I took it out of the Writer and put it into my Proper CD Player, it seemed to work fine, then I tried it on my Toshiba and then on my Liteon, everything was fine, it seemed to work on everything I tried it on. I was curious so I loaded Clony XXL again, it scanned the Disc but found NO!! Key2Audio Protection, all it said was that it was an AUDIO Disc Can anyone tell me why this should be?, or has anyone else had this happening to them? Thanks for reading this Post!! ---- STREAMLINE ---- |

| Protection Removed Ok this is what happend: Key2Audio is a multisession protection disc, the 2nd session contains data and the first contains the audio. The data session confuses the drive, which works as protection. CloneCD: In clone CD you can select the audio CD profile (what you did) and then ict copies only the first session, which contains the audio tracks. Burn it: It will also only burn the audio data as a normal audio cd and the protection isn't there anymore. Hope you can understand it, i am from the NL so... ![]()

| I can confirm what dj_newtricial is saying. He is correct. When using the audio profile in effect you leave out the protection. ![]()
