Audio Discuss, Starbucks/playnetwork "playdisc" .aud format at International Chat: Software related forum; The Mac and Newer Starbuck machines sound more like a Linux PC rather than a simple player. I wonder if I can boot a simple linux OS from a CD and bypass the hard drive? Then you can play your regular CDs BTW.. Replacing Songplay=Next with Songplay=Sequentail in

BTW.. Replacing Songplay=Next with Songplay=Sequentail in the Txt file worked nicely for me too. Thanks

The problem people are not thinking about is HARDWARE. Yes yes, you can make a compact disc with all that music by whatever means except it's ONLY useful in Starbucks CD players or on a computer with Winamp.

No manufacturer makes portable CD players that read this code that we're trying to figure out.

Rebirthing an old thread again...

But my place uses these discs... i cant figure them out totally yet, but im working on it thanks to this thread....

but so far, the easiest way i've learned to play your own stuff is an iPod on shuffle run into the back of the amp... all the controls are self explanatory from there....

that's what we call the "Club ON"

I DID IT!
I hired a programmer to figure it out!
I created the perfect program that works!
It even automatically gets the song and artist names!
This is awesome, I am finally listening to good music at work and noone knows that it is my music!

Email me at Willy@Willy3g.com for any questions.

It stopped working.....
I had it working, but it would not show the names, I was wrong about that.
Now it does not work at all.....

This sucks, I am just going to unplug the playnetwork player and plug it into my ipod....

F*K PLAYNETWORK!

Bummer dude...

Well, if you ever get it running again, let us know!

And if you wanna post up the source code, maybe someone here could pull it together.

Good Luck!

I Give Up.....The people at playnetwork made it too complicated....
I will just play my ipod instead... It is alot easier....
And the programmer lost the source code...
lol, all that work for nothing...but whatever...i guess its not worth hacking...
