Audio Discuss, Slow ripping speed at International Chat: Software related forum; I'm using EAC to rip one my audio cd's with my liteon 832s but somehow it's ripping really slow, approx 1.6x. I remembered using my liteon 52x52x24 burner last time (i disconnected it now) and it was ripping pretty fast. And yes, i have DMA enabled

Slow ripping speed

I'm using EAC to rip one my audio cd's with my liteon 832s but somehow it's ripping really slow, approx 1.6x. I remembered using my liteon 52x52x24 burner last time (i disconnected it now) and it was ripping pretty fast. And yes, i have DMA enabled on this drive. can you guy's help, please correct me if i have not identified everything. i'm ripping the cd at the moment, and i was reading in another post about the drivers or something, but i'm gonna just let it finish ripping at the moment.

actually, i got frustrated and now i switched to my jlms xj-hd165h drive and it's ripping at amazingly 9.6x at the moment. does anyone know the reason? and this drive is a good for audio ripping? last time i checked with nero, it had a rating of 10 for audio extractio quality.
