Removing Vocals from extracted audio - Club CDFreaks

Can anyone recommend some software that will allow me to remove vocals from a mp3 track I ripped ?
I am creating a presentation and I need the background music only.

I don't think you can as the vocals become part of the song I've tried it but then the song messes up.

You can filter out the vocal freq. with Cooledit/adobe audtion but it will distort it and may not work...you really can't do much to a mixed 2 channel file.

Analog X is a Atumate Vocal Remover but it's not a Smart Software,You Can Use Cool Edit Help For Removing Vocals.

It's better yourself remove vocals from a audio file,you just need some try & experience
