Record Audio Book on CD's

I have downloaded an audio book that I want to record on CD's to play in the car.
The book consists of 246 seperate .wav files that will span multiple CD's.
Is there a program that will do this automatically for me or will I have to compile each CD manually making sure the size of the selected files will fit ?
My car CD player won't play MP3's so that solution is out by the way.

An AUDIO-CD can only hold a max of 99 titles!

So then he will have to burn at least 3 CD's.

You'll have to do it manually but it should not be difficult. A good burner like Nero or PlexTools will show how much of the CD is filled at the bottom of the window.

Re: Record Audio Book on CD's

You could even combine some of them or if you have a REAL GODD player, use INDEXES!

Re: Record Audio Book on CD's

Unfortunately it's going to closer to 14 CD's by my calculations that's why i was hoping to find a program that would do it for me.
Thanks anyway but I guess it will have to be the old faithful Nero doing the job.

Re: Record Audio Book on CD's

it comes out at just under 1,030 minutes so I figure 1,030/70 = 15 CD's

Re: Record Audio Book on CD's

Why don't you just buy a Panasonic $30 mp3 CD player. It's not that expensive. The difference in the amount of playing time plus the money and time you'd save on burning CDs would be well worth the cost. In fact, I really don't understand why everyone doesn't buy one of these. They usually play regular CDs as well. And many of them come with some kind of adapter that you can hook up to your car system so that you can use your mp3 player to play in your car. People who just hang on to their old CD players and are not interested in an mp3 player are just living in the past. There's much better technology here today that you can take advantage of and that is very inexpensive.
