| PCI Sound Card on laptop? I want to grab a good sound card for my laptop but i don't want these crappy usb and pcmcia cards.I want to be able to somehow get one of these creative xfi monsters to work with my laptop. Is that at all possible? |

| Re: PCI Sound Card on laptop? You need a docking station for your notebook that supports PCI add-in cards. And of course, your notebook must have connectors for a docking solution. There are btw very excellent USB or cardbus solutions on the market. These are sold in shops that specialised in musician's equipment.

| Re: PCI Sound Card on laptop? Which ones are you referring to?I only know of the xfi 7.1 for notebooks. Also can you plz provide me with information about docking station in conjunction to hooking up pci equipment? Mostly i want to get the best audio decoding so i can get great output capabilities 7.1 and 3.5mm jacks as well. |

| Re: PCI Sound Card on laptop? What brand/model speakers do you have now? Or are you looking for/at them also? Interesting about the docking station. Never even thought about that until Michael brought it up. Don't most lappys have the docking receptacle plug on the bottoms of them? |
