no sound on certain cd tracks

i'm relatively new to making cd's, i usually just make vcd's or dvd's so i would appreciate any help anyone can offer

i have 19 tracks (.mp3 files) what i am trying to burn onto a cd to play in the car. all of the tracks play perfectly on the computer before burning, but after burning, 2 of the tracks have no sound. the cd player 'plays' them all the way through, but there is no sound at all.

i realise it's probably either something really small, or really obvious... but like i said, i just haven't a clue!!

thanks in advance for your help

make sure there's really no sound by ripping those tracks with the computer.

It seems to be be a bug with your burning software. What program are you using to burn?

Are the MP3 files corrupted?

car stereos can have problems with cdr media. Try a different brand.

thanks for the input

after looking at the files again.. yes.. they were corrupt (knew it would be something really obvious, feel stupid now!)

i got new versions of the tracks in question and they are working fine now.

thanks again
