Nero Burning Rom Save Track vs EAC

People say that "Exact Audio Copy" is the best audio CD ripping software. What about " Nero Burning Rom" "Save track" function - is it bad in any way? "Nero Burning Rom" is designed for quality copying and burning of CD, so I suppose "save track" function should be flawless. If it is not so, what is wrong there to compare with EAC?

Re: Nero Burning Rom Save Track vs EAC

The main reason that audiots are gung ho about EAC is that it can be configured to try its utmost to ensure you get a 1:1 copy of a CD's audio data. Error correction levels & features, offsets, gap detection, etc., are all configurable. Burst mode audio extractors tend to read from the CD and stream the data to a WAV file without considering whether the data is accurate.

Re: Nero Burning Rom Save Track vs EAC

Thanks. Then I have an other question: EAC allows error correction and so on, it shows the quality of the track after ripping. What percentage means that the track was ripped without any errors written to the wav file and when do I know that the track was ripped with errors? What if I use Nero Burning Rom's CD copy option and deselct "ignore read errors", - will it copy the CD flawlessly, even if EAC shows that the quality of one track is 94%?
