| MP3's all stutter... PLZ HELP A NEWBIE HELP ME OUT Why do my audio files Stutter ?  I have recently added two bits of kit to my PC... a Hercules 5.1 Sound-card and a Lite-On DVDRW LDW-811s since doing this I have been unable to play any audio or video files without the Stutter in the sound... I am not new to installing hardware but have hit a wall with this one...  Plz any pro's out there give me some of your knowledge, no butt kissing happening here  but any help most definately appreciated.Thanx Sy.  |

| Sounds like a buffering issue. Are your sure that all DMA modes of your drives (HDD and CD-ROM) are enabled? You could extract an audio cd to your hdd and check if the resulting wave files play correctly from there. Maybe you can give some more system details? |
