Missing audio driver

I recently re-formatted my PC and now my audio isn't working. I used to have a CD with the driver for it and corrected it when I reformatted last time, but i've lost this CD now and I can't remember the brand.

Is there anyway for me to recover this firmware or check the brand of my sound card to download some firmware as I can't see anything visible to indicate what it is?

I've updated the drivers for my motherboard and graphics card but no luck.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Missing audio driver

Hi,

in case your soundcard is soldered onto the motherboard, check the website of the motherboard manufacturer. They should normally provide drivers.
Similar applies to brand PCs like Dell, HP etc.
