KoRn - See You On The Other Side

first off sorry if this has already been posted but i did a search and there was no topic about this.

i bought this CD today and i backed up the first disc with no problems, but i am having trouble backing up the second disc. it is an enhanced CD with 5 tracks and 2 videos.
i have tried using Alcohol 120%, and CloneCD to back it up, but both programs only copy the audio portion.

any help on this would be appreciated.

Re: KoRn - See You On The Other Side

It has at least 2 sessions, you have to copy the whole disc.

CloneCd can do this easily.

Re: KoRn - See You On The Other Side

And?
There is always the chance that you haven't used a actual version and/or choosed the wrong settings for that specific (enhanced cd) type.

I had never problems doing that.

Maybe it has an newer copy-protection. No idea.

Re: KoRn - See You On The Other Side

You can always copy the data session to your hard drive with Windows Explorer and copy the audio session using Exact Audio Copy.

Then you can just use Nero or any other cookie-cutter burning program to burn a standard "CD Extra".

Re: KoRn - See You On The Other Side

i know that the data session can be copied, but i want the menu inteface aswell and for that i need to make an image of it so i can have it mounted without having to have the disc in the drive.

@ _chef_
which setting do i choose to backup a "CD Extra" in CloneCD?
and it doesn't have any copy protection as i scanned it with A-Ray and ClonyXXL.

Re: KoRn - See You On The Other Side

I have used "Data CD" and "Multimedia Audio CD" templates here with success.

A menu that comes up when you insert the CD in your drive?

That would be done thanks to a file on the CD called AutoRun.inf. So, like I said, just copying the files will achieve the desired result.

Unless, of course, that menu lets you listen to some of the CD-audio tracks by looking up their positions. That could be kinda interesting.

Re: KoRn - See You On The Other Side

Probably he just meant "autoplay/autostart".

I would never use that feature anyway. It has been proved that enabling this goives only trouble, especially with newer pressed CDs & DVDs. :-(

I have also bought this cd and I wonder how I should rip the audio. I have read the guides, but no good.
