| japanese avex cd... just got some of those japanese avex music cd, and i wanna copy them, well actually i just want to copy some tracks off them. but, everytime i tried, the cd-rom just jammed, the light is on but it's just not working. and somtimes, the whole computer just freezes too any1 of you have some success copying these darn copied protected cds pls help, and thank you! -Jun Last edited by kasio; 01-08-2002 at 10:07. |

| What software are you using? (Try EAC) What hardware do you use? (for audio Plextor is best)

| ya... i have a plextor 8x4x32... i was using cd-creator, nero, clone cd and i have tried eac once but failed... ![]() edit: is it eac just for ripping the cd into mp3 or help ya burn the whole cd? anyway, im gonna try it again. Last edited by kasio; 01-08-2002 at 10:32. |

| EAC is for ripping audio cds. After the ripping part you can decide what to do: convert them to mp3, burn them as a normal audio cd. Eac gives the possibility to convert to mp3 with the help of the LAME encoder. Eac also has the possibility to write audio cds.

| i've noticed that in order to burn the music tracks by using eac, you must ripped them into wav. or a cue. sheet first right?! thx for the inputs... ![]() edit: i have success ripping all the tracks into wav. but not with the first track. i mean i've got three different avex cds here, the first track of each cds is just impossible to copy!!! | I don't know that protection, I have never seen it or heard from it, so I can't help you with successfully ripping those cds. ![]()
