What software are you using? (Try EAC)
What hardware do you use? (for audio Plextor is best)

EAC is for ripping audio cds. After the ripping part you can decide what to do: convert them to mp3, burn them as a normal audio cd. Eac gives the possibility to convert to mp3 with the help of the LAME encoder. Eac also has the possibility to write audio cds.

i've noticed that in order to burn the music tracks by using eac, you must ripped them into wav. or a cue. sheet first right?! thx for the inputs...

edit: i have success ripping all the tracks into wav. but not with the first track. i mean i've got three different avex cds here, the first track of each cds is just impossible to copy!!!

I don't know that protection, I have never seen it or heard from it, so I can't help you with successfully ripping those cds.

1 : switch on the pc
2 : launch EAC
3 : insert the cd
4 : use 'detect toc manually"
5 : good luck
