| iTunes Chump refresh problem I downloaded I-tunes and set it to use my music folder for the library. It works fine for the mp3's that were already there, but if I want it to include any newly downloaded songs I have to compleatly replace the folder with the same folder and load all the songs again [plus the noewly downloaded ones]. Is there any way that I can make it automaticly update the library whenever I download a new song to my music folder? [sorry for the crappy description] |

| Re: iTunes Chump refresh problem hey slez, sure, just make sure you have these settings under edit/preferences: 1) have your itunes music folder set to where u want to store your files 2) check "Keep Itunes Folder Organized 3) check "copy files to Itune folder when adding to library 4) read the help on consolidate library to get files outside your itunes folder into it. 5) make sure u are using 4.7 or above - updates are free! good luck!!! |
